The Monterey County Distict Attorney, Dean D Flippo, has announced that no charges will be filed against the Monterey police officer who shot and killed Donald Miller II on October 6, 2015.
The investigation revealed that the officer reacted with a reasonable belief that Miller, who pulled out a gun and raised it toward the officer, posed an imminent deadly threat and that the officer shot Miller in self-defense and in the defense of others, namely innocent civilians.
