Traffic Enforcement in Del Monte Forest

Pebble Beach Company and the California Highway Patrol welcome this year’s guests to the 69th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.  The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is widely regarded as the premier Concours in the world.  The California Highway Patrol along with Pebble Beach Company will be increasing patrol efforts to ensure that this event remains safe.  Enforcement efforts will focus on impaired drivers, speeding and to enforce the adherence of all traffic signs.  Using data collected in previous years, we have also pinpointed areas in Del Monte Forest that have high rates of speed and collisions.  The California Highway Patrol will take proactive steps to ensure that speed laws are enforced.  The exact timing and location of these operations will not be shared to ensure an effective campaign.

Please note that the number of law enforcement personnel present on the road this week has been significantly increased.  Whether test driving one of the many cars that will be on display or driving a personal vehicle the California Highway Patrol and Pebble Beach Company remind all drivers that “speed kills”.  Be a responsible driver for the safety of all guests, attendees and residents.

Pebble Beach Company and the California Highway Patrol thank the community and guests for working together to keep this event and surrounding events safe by obeying all traffic laws.

This is the Heal the Bay Beach Report Card for Monterey Peninsula beaches, which reports water quality grades, or when relevant, weather advisories. An A to F grade is assigned based on the health risks of swimming or surfing at that location. Look at the "dry" grade for all days except those "wet" days during and within 3 days after a rainstorm. Click here for more information on the Beach Report Card. Click the name of the beach when it pops up for more details, or choose a beach below.
