• Amer. Legion Seeks Volunteers for AT&T

    amer legion at&tVOLUNTEER AT THE AT&T – AND HELP VETS! The Veterans Transition Center of Monterey County is looking for volunteers to help work in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am concession tents on two of the courses Feb. 10-13.  

    – Volunteers can sign up on the Facebook page for Veterans Transition Center of Monterey County by clicking the Survey Monkey “Sign Up” button, or call the Veterans Transition Center office at 831-883-VETS (8387), and ask to be connected to Volunteer Registration (Extension 128).
    – The VTC volunteers will take part in one of the biggest golf events of the year, while bringing a percentage of the revenue back to homeless Veterans and their families living in the Monterey County area. Proceeds go straight back to our local Veterans, so sign up today!

    This is the Heal the Bay Beach Report Card for Monterey Peninsula beaches, which reports water quality grades, or when relevant, weather advisories. An A to F grade is assigned based on the health risks of swimming or surfing at that location. Look at the "dry" grade for all days except those "wet" days during and within 3 days after a rainstorm.
