• Boys Soccer: Pacific Grove ties with Stevenson behind Rutger Sperry’s two goals

    After losing to Soledad on Tuesday 2-0, the Breakers came back and secured a tie with Stevenson on Thursday night [02-12-15].

    Fifteen minutes into the game, Rutger Sperry got the Breakers onto the score board first, with his fourth goal of the season.

    Stevenson though, would score two goals in the second half to take a 2-1 lead. The Pirates, who were looking for their first victory of the season, fell short when Rutger Sperry scored his second goal of the game in the 70th minute.

    The Breakers (1-11-4, 1-9-3) will finish the season at home against Marina (2-7-4, 2-5-3) on Thursday, February 17, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
