    Dilbar Dhaliwal with Elk member Joseph Villa from the Elk’s District contest last Saturday.

    Dilbar Dhaliwal, a 6th grader at Pacific Grove Middle School, won the local Elk’s Free-throw contest (making 17/25 free-throws) held at P.G. High on November 12.

    He then competed in the Monterey Peninsula contest on January 14, winning in a tie-breaker (20/25 free-throws).
    Last Saturday, Dilbar won the Elk’s District competition in an other tie-breaker (16/25 free-throws).
    This Saturday, January 21 he will participate in the Northern California championship contest in Sacramento.
    Dilbar is competing in the Elk’s Lodge Annual National Free-Throw HOOP SHOOT contest.
    Please wish him luck for continued success as he represents our community.
