Theatrical fight coordinator and actor Anthony Carreiro (Lethal Weapon II; Liar, Liar), demonstrates the choreography of creating a fight scene for theatrical and film production.

An Evening of Steinbeck

An ensemble of actors from the CSU Summer Arts workshop Steppenwolf Class West will present a reading of excerpts from John Steinbeck’s dispatches from Vietnam. These writings from the war constitute the famous author’s last published works.

Dan Petrie has been nominated for a screenwriting Oscar for Beverly Hills Cop, has produced and directed multiple films and T.V. series, has served as President of the Writers Guild of America West, and was a governor of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences.

Grammy Award winning jazz saxophonist Eric Marienthal began his professional career with trumpeter Al Hurt, performed with Chick Corea’s Elektric Band, and currently is a member of The Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Band which performed at the MJF/56 last September. As a high school student, Eric Marienthal also performed with the Monterey Jazz Festival California All-Star Band.
