• Inaugural meeting of Pacific Grove Monarchs Lions Club

    Volunteer to help in your community by joining our Pacific Grove Monarchs Lions Club. This club will help the Blind and Visually Impaired Center at 225 Laurel Ave. in Pacific Grove and do other community service projects. The meeting Jan. 11 at 3 p.m. will include an induction of new members. These Lions will be Centennial members and receive a special 100 year pin. An A to F grade is assigned based on the health risks of swimming or surfing at that location. Look at the "dry" grade for all days except those "wet" days during and within 3 days after a rainstorm.
