• Legal Services for Seniors (LSS) expands South Monterey County Legal Outreach

     South Monterey County seniors can now see a LSS attorney every Tuesday in King City and Greenfield, and every Thursday in Soledad and Gonzales.

    ·       King City outreach is Tuesday, 9:30am to 12:30pm at the Leo A. Meyer Center, 415 Queen Street.

    ·       Greenfield outreach is Tuesday, 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Monterey County Free Library, 315 El Camino Real.

    ·       Soledad outreach is Thursday, 9:30am to 12:30pm at the Monterey County Free Library, 401 Gabilan Drive.

    ·       Gonzales outreach is Thursday, 1:00pm to 3:15pm at the Gonzales City Hall, 147 Fourth Street.

    Walk-ins are welcome and appointments are encouraged. Call 831.442.7700 to schedule an appointment.

    Legal Services For Seniors provides no-cost legal assistance to Monterey County seniors 60 years of age and above with an emphasis on serving those who are socially and/or economically needy.  We have offices in Seaside and Salinas and outreach in South County, North County and the Peninsula.

    This year LSS is celebrating our 30th Anniversary of successfully helping more than 81,000 Monterey Country Seniors with legal issues such as landlord-tenant conflicts, Medicare insurance mix-ups, consumer fraud, financial and physical elder abuse, wills, advance health care directives, guardianships and more.
