• Library Foundation Tribute to Judy Archibald

On Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 3:30pm the Pacific Grove Public Library Foundation will be hosting a tribute to Judy Archibald in the Hauk Gallery of the PG Library.

Judy will be leaving the Foundation Board after 5 years of service. Judy is a stalwart supporter of our Library. She served as President of the Friends of the Library for 6 years, and is responsible for expanding and revitalizing the organization. Judy started Meet the Author committee, which is very popular in our community. But most of all she is responsible for establishing the Pacific Grove Public Library Foundation when a bequest was received from the Erna Morris estate. Judy saw that it was time for a Foundation to be formed in order to ensure that the Library will continue in perpetuity for generations to come.

Please join us in thanking Judy for her years of dedicated service to our community and our library.

This is the Heal the Bay Beach Report Card for Monterey Peninsula beaches, which reports water quality grades, or when relevant, weather advisories. An A to F grade is assigned based on the health risks of swimming or surfing at that location. Look at the "dry" grade for all days except those "wet" days during and within 3 days after a rainstorm. Click here for more information on the Beach Report Card. Click the name of the beach when it pops up for more details, or choose a beach below.
