The Monterey Public Library invites the community to participate in its annual Summer Reading Program. From June 1st through July 31, readers of all ages can celebrate books, learning, and creativity at the Monterey Library’s Pacific Street location and on board the Bookmobile. Sign up and earn prizes for reading this summer! The celebration kicks off on Saturday, June 8th, from 1pm-4pm with a free family-friendly party on Colton Hall Lawn, featuring performers, crafts, snacks, MY Museum’s Wheelie Mobilee, special appearances from the Monterey Fire Department and Police Department, and more.
