    The Lyceum of Monterey County to Hold 31st Annual Monterey County Spelling Bee

    Fifty-four fourth and fifth grade finalists from 27 local private and public schools, will compete in the thirty-first annual Monterey County spelling bee to be held Feb. 21 at San Benancio Middle School, 43 San Benancio Road, just off Highway 68. 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

    The event is free and open to the public.
