The Monterey Police Department Records Lobby will be closed for construction on July 6, 2017 and is expected to reopen mid-August 2017. A temporary Records lobby will be located in the modular building in the rear Police parking lot. The temporary lobby will be open Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Regular business transactions such as report requests, vehicle releases, alcohol permits, and posting bond or bail will be available at the temporary location during the hours listed above.
Victims of particular crimes have the option to file a police report online. Visit the Monterey Police Department’s website at monterypolice.org and choose the ‘Submit a Crime Report Online’ button located at the top of the home page.

Citizens are encouraged to postpone in-person visits, if possible, until construction is complete.
