The Carmel Mission Foundation is pleased to announce that the $2,000,000 renovation of the Carmel Mission’s Quadrangle Courtyard has been completed on time and under budget.
This project was funded by the Carmel Mission Foundation and performed by the same Preservation Team and general contractor, Blach Construction, that performed the award-winning Basilica restoration. Its completion comes just in time for the Carmel Mission Classic Car Show to be held in this courtyard next Wednesday, August 17, during Car Week.
This is the second major Mission preservation project funded by the Foundation, which has now provided a total of $7,500,000 in grants to the Carmel Mission to preserve this historic treasure.
