• Ribbon Cuttings: In Stride Physical Therapy & Rehab, Manjushri Dharma Center

    The official ribbon cutting for In Stride Physical Therapy and Rehab is set for Thurs., Aug. 21 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at 618 Lighthouse Ave. in Pacific Grove. Join the Chamber in welcoming David and Talli van Sunder of In Stride Therapy who, in turn, are welcoming a new speech therapist to the practice.

    Tracey Baldwin is a highly skilled and experienced speech and language pathologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of voice and swallowing disorders.

    Clinical services are offered for those who have lost the ability to voice due to cancer; people who are experiencing changes in vocal quality, pitch or loudness due to vocal strain or vocal cord lesions as well as individuals living with Parkinson’s Disease.   Services are also offered to those who are experiencing speech, language, voice and swallowing difficulties due to a recent stroke.

    Ms Baldwin is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Therapy. She is skilled in the use of voice prostheses and therapy techniques for those without vocal cords. Additionally, she uses a wide variety of exercises, therapeutic techniques and strategies to treat swallowing problems. Ms Baldwin also offers individualized treatment programs for the professional vocal artist including singers, actors,   broadcasters, politicians, teachers and those in the sales workforce.

    Manjushri Dharma Center will be welcomed to Pacific Grove in an official grand opening and ribbon cutting on Tuesday, Aug. 26 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. The Dharma center is located at 623 Lighthouse Avenue, and is the center for the practice and teaching of the Ven. Khenpo Karten Rinpoche.
