• Girl’s Tennis team loses to Santa Catalina

    Pacific Grove lost to Santa Catalina at home on Thursday afternoon [10-23-14]. The Breakers lone victory came from Savana McDowell, who defeated Santa Catalina’s number 1 singles player in two sets. Overall, the Breakers went 1-3 in singles and 1-2 in doubles.

    #2 Singles – Granat, SC, def. Magnino, PGHS, 6-1, 6-0.

    #3 Singles – Redfield, SC, def. Momberger, PGHS, 6-3, 6-0.

    #4 Singles – Kawasaki, SC, def. Crowley, PGHS, 6-3, 6-1.

    #1 Doubles – Kamel/Shoemaker, SC, def. Garcia/Leivenberg, PGHS, 6-0, 4-6, STB 10-8.

    #2 Doubles – Dentoro/Kim, SC, def. White/Zhang, PGHS, 6-1, 6-1.

    #3 Doubles – PGHS, def. (No Show)

    The Breakers (3-7) play their next match at Oakwood on Monday, October 27 at 3:30 p.m.
