• Sheriff’s Office Seeks Help in Homicide

    On 3/2/2015 at approximately 0140 hours deputies were flagged down by a motorist in Pajaro who advised that there was a male lying in the parking lot of a business at the intersection of Salinas Street and Fremont Street. Deputies arrived at the location and located a deceased male who appeared to have been shot to death. Investigators were called out and the investigation was taken over by them. The name of the deceased is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone who traveled through the area between midnight and 0200 hours and who saw any activity at all to please call Inv. Sgt Terry Kaiser or Inv.
