• Soccer: Girls Get Back in the Win Column

    Girls Soccer:

    Pacific Grove jumps back into the win column after getting shutout at Greenfield, with a 1-0 victory at Carmel on Tuesday afternoon.

    Jada Ware scored her seventeenth goal of the season the second half of the match with Carmel.

    With the victory, the Breakers now find themselves one game out of first place in the MTAL.

    Pacific Grove (10-3-2, 8-2-2) will next play an important match at first place Soledad (14-2-1, 10-1-1) on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 5:30 p.m.

    With a victory over the Aztecs, the Breakers can almost guarantee themselves at least a share of the MTAL for the second straight season.

    Last meeting between these two ended in a 1-1 draw at Pacific Grove.
