• Tail End of Summer SPCA Adoption Event: Pick Your Price on Adoptable Pets

    Has the end of summer got you down?  Well, turn that frown upside down and come to the SPCA for the Tail End of Summer Adoption Event this Saturday and Sunday, August 24 and 25. 

    During the event, adopters can Pick Their Price on all dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, parakeets, snakes, doves, pigeons, turtles, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, roosters, and geese. 

    SPCA adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter surgery, permanent microchip identification, vaccinations, SPCA ID tag, a health evaluation, and more. Regular adoption fees range from $35 to $290.  The SPCA for Monterey County is located at 1002 Monterey-Salinas Highway, across from WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.  Adoption hours are 11-5 on weekdays and 11-4 on weekends.  Learn more at www.SPCAmc.org
