• The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

Ariel Theatrical in Salinas will present “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” through December 15. A couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant are faced with the trial of casting the Herdman children, who are thought to be “inventively awful kids.” Mayhem ensues when the kids “collide with the Christmas story head-on.” Everyone learns lessons on compassion, understanding and the true spirit of giving.
Performances are on Fridays, Dec. 7 and 14 and Saturdays Dec. 8 and 15 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday afternoons, Dec. 8 and 15 at 2 p.m.
Ariel Theatrical is located at 320 S. Main St. in Salinas Old Town.
    Tickets are: Adult $10, Senior/Student/Military $8; Child 3-12 $6; Under 3 Free.

This is the Heal the Bay Beach Report Card for Monterey Peninsula beaches, which reports water quality grades, or when relevant, weather advisories. An A to F grade is assigned based on the health risks of swimming or surfing at that location. Look at the "dry" grade for all days except those "wet" days during and within 3 days after a rainstorm. Click here for more information on the Beach Report Card. Click the name of the beach when it pops up for more details, or choose a beach below.
