Follow-up on our front page story: An agreement reached between MST, the Amalgamated Transit Union and the U.S. Dept. of Labor to allow $3 million in federal grant funding to go through means proposed Monterey-Salinas Transit cuts, scheduled to begin Jan. 5, 2013, will not happen. You will not have to walk in nasty winter weather.
Public hearings set for Jan. 2 and 3 were also cancelled.
