Stolen Veh webMonterey Police Department asks help regarding a valuable vehicle which was reported stolen from the Fisherman’s Wharf  Waterfront Lot #1 sometime between   August 16, 2013 at 10:30 PM and August 17, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.
    The vehicle is described as a red 1961 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport (SS) 409, 4 speed convertible. The vehicle has an Idaho license plate, SS409. The Impala was valued at $220,000 as it was the only 1961 SS known with all original parts. The vehicle had been on the auction block at the Russo Steele Auction on Friday night, but did not sell. A photo of thestolen vehicle is attached.
