The Breakers needed only 4 innings to defeat Marina 14-1, and improve to 5-1 in league play and 7-1 overall.
Eric Boerner picked up the victory for Pacific Grove, going 2 innings, striking out 4 and allowing 0 hits. Offensively, the Breakers had a field day, picking up 15 hits. Leading the way, was Kacee Takasaki. Takasaki went 4 for 4, scored 4 runs, and had 3 RBI’s.
28 March – 30 March 2016 (Anaheim Lions Easter Tournament)
For the second straight year, Pacific Grove traveled to a big tournament and didn’t fare well. The Breakers finished the tournament with a record of 0-3-1, blowing two leads late in the game to Riverside Poly and Saint John Bosco.

Softball –

Pacific Grove has gotten off to a great start this season, and continued their great play, with an 11-1 victory over King City. The Breakers have already won as many games in league play as they did all season last year.
Sophomore Danielle Pasquariello led the Breakers at the plate, going 2 for 3, with 2 RBI’s and scoring 2 runs. Freshman Parker Llantero picked up her 4th win of the season for Pacific Grove, giving up 2 hits and striking out 1 in 3 innings of work.
Currently, the Breakers sit on top of the MTAL with a 3-1 league record.
Lacrosse –

The Breakers (6-1, 2-0) finally lost their first match of season, falling to Scotts Valley (5-2, 2-0) the first place team in MTAL-N, 5-3. Eli Swanson picked up 10 saves for the Breakers in their first loss of the season.
Pacific Grove sits in a three way tie with Carmel and Stevenson for first place in MTAL-S.
The Breakers will play a huge match at home against Carmel on Wednesday 04 April, 2016 at 6:00 p.m.
